Natalie

natalieThis is Natalie, a 29 year old mother of 4 in Toongabbie, NSW. At the early age of 8, Natalie was prescribed a pair of glasses, however, she chose not to wear them and due to a busy schedule and a tight budget she has not been to see an optometrist since.

Natalie had been suffering from dizziness, headaches and was having trouble reading to her kids. Her doctor had mentioned that she should get her eyes tested; being a busy mom of 4 Natalie didn’t have the time or money to visit with an optometrist. “Even if an optometrist had told me to get glasses I wouldn’t have bought them,” said Natalie. Like most mothers she chooses to put her children’s needs in front of her own.

She attended an ICEE clinic in Toongabbie on the suggestion of a friend. When ICEE optometrist Mitahsa was adding stronger lenses to the trial frame Natalie couldn’t believe her eyes, “is this how clearly everyone sees?” she said.

“I couldn’t believe the change”, said Natalie.

Natalie was beaming with excitement when she talked about the arrival of her new glasses. She said, “I am going to be able to see my kids clearly, every bit of dirt on their faces! I am really looking forward to that!”
