How to use the Package

Teachers are able to choose which areas and activities they wish to use for their students.

The lessons can be used on ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day or any other day throughout the year.

The ICEE Education Package contains information for teachers and students
in the areas of:

•  How eye problems are treated
•  Keep your eyes healthy
•  Discussion questions
•  Activities for the classroom

The ICEE Education Package encourages communication, investigation and
creative arts.

Where do I start?

1. Download the ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day Education Package (right hand side of the page) – there you will find lesson plans covering topics like the structure of the eye and how to keep eyes healthy. You will also find discussion questions and fun activities for the children to do.

2. You may use the ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day Education Package to teach your students about the importance of their eyes and the value of helping others around the world see. Help give sight to the 300 million people in the world that do not have access to an eye examination or a pair of glasses.

3. Fundraising – there is a download available (right hand side of the page) with lots of great fundraising ideas. Funds raised support the work of ICEE in Australia and around the world.
