ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day
ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day, an initiative of the International Centre for Eyecare Education (ICEE), is a day for children to learn about their vision, eye care and how they can join the fight against avoidable blindness and vision impairment.
In 2012, early learning centres, primary and secondary schools are encouraged to get involved throughout the year by hosting ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day on a day that suits their timetable.
Teach your students about the value of sight and help ICEE raise awareness of the 670 million people around the world who don't have access to an eye examination and a pair of glasses.
Your participation will help ICEE, in Australia and regions around the world, educate more eye care professionals, build sustainable centres for eye care and conduct research to move further towards eliminating avoidable blindness and vision impairment.
